I have been given a unique opportunity today to speak into the lives of over 1000 people at my school. I was able to produce a 9/11 tribute video for our entire student body and staff and declare it "Random Acts of Kindness Day" at our school! Readers, our movement is growing! How exciting!
On this day meant for tragedy and evil, let us pause to take back what was stolen from us eight years ago! Let's turn today into a day of service and kindness, never forgetting, yet not acknowledging the horror of eight years ago. Let us fight as so many peaceful protestors have in our history--not with physical weapons to mame and injure, but with acts of service, love instead of hate, and positivity. The acts of 9/11/01 sought to destroy our way of life and our freedom, but they also gave us our greatest opportunities for greatness. Every challenge in our lives and the history of our nation has given us the ability to become greater than we are. Let's be GREAT today!!
Join me this day in paying tribute to the men and women who gave their lives on September 11, 2001 by giving of ourselves in service to each other. What better way can we honor those lives that were lost?!
